Our Foundation & Corporate Social Investment

In line with its commitment to social justice and community empowerment, Sisa Namandje & Co. Inc. has actively engaged in various Corporate Social Investment initiatives since its establishment. In November 2020, the Sisa Namandje Foundation was founded. The Foundation operates primarily through donations from its founder, Mr. Namandje, and other generous contributors. Its mission is broad, with a focus on creating opportunities for previously disadvantaged Namibians to access education, economic markets, and to support various charitable initiatives. Through these efforts, the Foundation continues to make a meaningful impact on Namibian society. "

The Sisa Namandje Foundation aligns its mission with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by focusing on eradicating poverty and hunger (SDG 1 & 2), ensuring quality education (SDG 4), promoting decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and fostering peace, justice, and strong institutions (SDG 16). Through its initiatives, the Foundation actively contributes to empowering marginalized communities, providing access to opportunities, and creating pathways to sustainable development in Namibia.

Since its inception, the Sisa Namandje Foundation has successfully partnered with numerous school feeding programmes and orphanages, providing essential supplies such as food and learning materials. Notable initiatives include support for Bright Hill Pre-Primary in Havana and the Indongo Edu-Lunch Foundation, which offers meals to children from impoverished homes in the Oshikoto Region. The Foundation has also contributed to the development of daycare centres and primary schools, including Joseph Mbangula Academy in Oshana and Karundu Secondary School, as well as sponsoring events like the Khomas Social Science Regional Quiz Competition.

Each year, the Foundation provides financial assistance to students at various tertiary institutions and supports learners with special educational needs. Demonstrating its commitment to sports, the Foundation sponsored Namibia’s Paralympics teams in 2022 and 2023. Additionally, it has backed various initiatives, such as the Rock Wildlife Foundation in Zambezi, the University of Namibia Constitutional Law Conference, Project Never Walk Alone, and aid for individuals with disabilities. With its broad mandate, the Foundation remains dedicated to funding impactful projects across Namibia.
